Twisted Metal ShootMyTruck Website Is Live With Thousands Of Bullets And C4

Posted on Tuesday, February 14 @ 15:05:59 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Knowing David Jaffe, if the first Twisted Metal in years was going to be marketed, it'd have to be in a crazy, out of the ordinary way. Sure enough, Twisted Metal is finally here, and even though we were expecting some insane marketing, nothing could have prepared us for being able to remotely fire a machine gun.

Shootmytruck.com is now live and people are taking turns shooting an M249 SAW equipped with 10,000 rounds at a bunch of targets, one of which is an awesome Sweet Tooth ice cream truck that I wish I could drive (while it isn't in front of a gun, of course). There are four camera views available so you can see each 5.56 x 45mm round take care of business. A random user is being chosen every few minutes, so be patient and hopefully you'll be able to tell your friends that you shot a machine gun at Sweet Tooth's truck.

Tomorrow at 3:00PM PST (6:00PM EST) three people will be able to end all the BS and activate the C4 charges planted in the truck. I don't know about you, but there's no way I'm missing out on seeing a giant explosion, believe me. In the meantime, enjoy Twisted Metal!
