Twitter And Facebook Apps Will Vacate The Xbox Dashboard

Posted on Friday, October 19 @ 08:47:44 Eastern by Keri_Honea

But if you did notice, then be aware that this wasn't an oversight. Microsoft confirmed with IGN that these apps have been officially "retired" with this mandatory dashboard update.

Microsoft's reasoning? They opted to remove them in order to help "streamline" app functionality for the Xbox. In other words, they want you to use Internet Explorer to tweet and post to Facebook.
