Two Execs Leave 38 Studios

There seems to be no good news in sight for poor 38 Studios. According to resumes on LinkedIn, CEO Jen MacLean and senior vice president of product development John Blakely, have left the company. One day, maybe one day, we won't have to rely on resumes for news.

No official word has come down from 38 Studios regarding this matter, but that's just as surprising as two executives bailing on this sinking ship.

    I've heard that starting a game development studio with no experience in order to make a triple-A new IP as your first game in an over-crowded genre is similar to playing baseball: You can pitch all you want, but at the end of the day you'll lose if you can't manage a hit.
