Ubisoft Details Multiplayer For ZombiU

ZombiU developer Ubisoft has finally shed some light on the multiplayer in their upcoming Wii U exclusive. Dubbed King of Zombies (highly original, I know) players will face off in a modified version of Capture the Flag. Of course, seeing as how this is a game for a Nintendo platform, there's got to be some sort of gimmick.

Story director Gabrielle Shrager detailed the multiplayer to ONM, explaining that it is based off of a particular section within the single-player campaign. "St George's is our hell within hell. Survivors here are unwilling participants in a twisted game in which they are thrown to the infected. Our multiplayer arenas are a spin-off of this mission in the campaign," she said.

In it, one player will direct the survivors within the area to a flag using the Pro Controller. At the same time, another player with the GamePad will be thwarting their efforts by spawning zombies with the touchpad. Sounds interesting enough, but I won't be sold until I see it in action.

ZombiU launches alongside the Wii U on November 18th. Will you be picking this game up on day one? Let us know in the comments below.

    Yes. Actually thought long and hard and am going to get Mass Effect 3 too. I thought the cool new features were worth not transferring my PC Shepards (Renegade/Paragon).
