Ubisoft Details Multiplayer For ZombiU

Posted on Monday, October 29 @ 08:16:59 PST by Alex_Osborn

ZombiUdeveloper Ubisoft has finally shed some light on the multiplayer in their upcoming Wii U exclusive. Dubbed King of Zombies (highly original, I know) players will face off in a modified version of Capture the Flag. Of course, seeing as how this is a game for a Nintendo platform, there's got to be some sort of gimmick.

Story director Gabrielle Shrager detailed the multiplayer to ONM, explaining that it is based off of a particular section within the single-player campaign. "St George's is our hell within hell. Survivors here are unwilling participants in a twisted game in which they are thrown to the infected. Our multiplayer arenas are a spin-off of this mission in the campaign," she said.

In it, one player will direct the survivors within the area to a flag using the Pro Controller. At the same time, another player with the GamePad will bethwartingtheir efforts by spawning zombies with the touchpad. Sounds interesting enough, but I won't be sold until I see it in action.

ZombiUlaunches alongside the Wii U on November 18th. Will you be picking this game up on day one? Let us know in the comments below.
