Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Ubisoft Still Believes In The Vita

Posted on Thursday, June 14 @ 14:38:23 Eastern by

Ubisoft's Tony Key, speaking with IGN, still believes that the PlayStation Vita holds promise despite its compatively slower momentum to the 3DS's growth. A large part can be drawn to Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed III: Liberation exclusive to Sony's handheld (read Daniel's preview here), but some of it comes from true optimism:
It’s a really good platform and we’ve always liked it. The way it’s designed, it’s a beautiful piece of hardware. It’s got cool features that you can’t get anywhere else. And Assassin’s Creed, we believe, is the right type of game for that system. It’s definitely too early to say that Vita’s not going to be a success.

Assassin’s Creed III is not the only big Vita game coming this holiday, and I think that’s a good thing. We’re actually very happy that there’s another big Vita game coming for Christmas from a competitor because we think that will raise all boats. It’s going to generate a lot of interest in the Vita this holiday season. Sony’s going to be spending a lot of money and resources to make sure that the Vita is there and it’s relevant and it’s doing well.
With five launch titles for the Vita, Ubisoft certainly has itself invested in the future success of the handheld. I believe that the Vita hasn't hit its stride yet, and that it will continue to stagnate until high-profile titles have simultaneous releases for the Vita and support the featured ability to use the Vita as a controller or a "transfarring" point, as Hideo Kojima has dubbed.

Either that or a Monster Hunter for Vita.

I still believe in the Vita too... but that's because I want some more software for this thing.
