Posted on Wednesday, July 20 @ 09:13:41 Eastern by

Capcom and Marvel are teaming up to bring you even more fighters and another disc to buy with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The new edition of the spring crossover features twelve new characters, bringing the full roster to 50.

Strider and Firebrand have been confirmed from the Capcom universe while Ghost Rider and Hawkeye (most likely making an appearance to prepare people for The Avengers movie) will be entering from the Marvel universe. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will also feature new balancing for an added level of accessibility. Spectator mode will also join the improved online experience.

Anyone else happy they didn't put money down on the initial Marvel vs. Capcom 3 offering? No? Maybe you'd like to know that this edition of MvC3 will only cost you $40.

Of course I paid $60 dollars for the original one. I probably should just wait till they release Super Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Turbo Arcade Alpha EX : The New Challengers Edition.

This sucks people really should just say **** it and not buy Capcom games for a while. $40 bucks when you can do a $10 add-on of all the extra characters. and it is the same game. Capcom has officially been viewed as sucking donkey balls...that's all i gotta say about that

Wow! I haven't played with Hawkeye in a game since way back when I was dropping quarters into Captain America and the Avengers. Neat.

HAHA I remember that game now! It was one of the most awkward beat-em-ups at my local arcade, but if Simpsons or X-men was taken that's the one I'd go to.
