FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

Ultra-Difficult Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Available on PS3

Posted on Tuesday, May 6 @ 15:01:17 Eastern by

Several years ago one of my female friends, as a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei Persona series, borrowed my copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, but within about three days, she returned it to me. When asked why, she told me that she has better things to do than to be "ass-****ed" every five steps. Oh my.

The sinisterly difficult Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne will be available as a PS2 classic on PSN later today in North America. For only $9.99, it's well worth the price as a real copy of the game in stores now is extraordinarily rare and can only be found through eBay and the like.

I know that a spare few of our hardcore fans here at GameRevolution have finished the game (I applaud you for your victory), but even talking about the game makes my butt clench. I still remember the Labyinth of Amala, the cameo appearance of Dante from Devil May Cry, and one of the last dungeons that have numerous teleporting tiles that would send you back to the dungeon entrance. I think may be emotionally scarred...
