Via Sony's official PlayStation blog, it has been announced that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will have its own "Season Pass" DLC Pre-order program called the Fortune Hunters' Club "that gets you WHAT you want, WHEN you want, and HOW you want it!"

Available on the PlayStation Store and select retailers, the prepaid $24.99 DLC program allows players to get the the first four multiplayer map packs and the first three multiplayer skin packs, as well as an exclusive Fortune Hunters' Club Theme, valued together at $45.00. Fortune Hunters will also receive XMB message links to the downloadable content once they're available.

This DLC Program does not include the Online Pass or the bonuses that come with the Explorer Edition of Uncharted 3.

This is the first time where the final product (MP) has killed how hyped I am for a game.
Seriously, the beta was infinitely better than what we have now.

DLC content release info being given out prior to the games release along with all this new 'season pass' crap is whats killing game hyping for me.

I don't let publisher decisions stop me from playing the game, it's silly if you ask me.
I buy the game because of....ya know, the game.

I did get the Map/Skin combo DLCs for Uncharted 2, but seeing as how I dropped that MP like a bomb a year ago after numerous gangs of high level squads pubstomping me, I had enough of that. I feel like I got my money's worth out of the DLC, but doing this? Not on my watch, I want to know what I'm getting into beforehand. It's just the "first 4 map DLCs", so if they make 5 you're screwed. If there's a lack of DLC, there's a chance of overpaying. At most, I'm torn between getting the game now for the singleplayer and enjoying the basic MP, or wait for a Game of the Year Edition with all the DLC included for a cheaper price overall. I'm starting to lean towards the latter, Skyrim and Arkham City will tide me over until something like that happens.

I say rent the game for single-player. The multiplayer (imo)is pretty biased towards higher ranked players and it's worse than the beta because they are catering to all of the whiners.

Well, it's official, I'll be buying this game used. I'm not about to send my money to people that think crap like this is a good idea.
