Uncharted Double Pack Coming September 6th

Posted on Wednesday, August 31 @ 14:22:43 Eastern by

Excited about Uncharted 3 but haven't played the first two games? Well, who wouldathunk?

On their official blog, Sony has just announced the Uncharted Greatest Hits Dual Pack, which comes with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and the GotY edition of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves—both only for $40. Both copies will be the Greatest Hits version and the pack will release on September 6th.

But that's not all. A "Super Voucher" will also be included, with DLC from the Uncharted 2 GOTY, two DLC items for Uncharted 3: a Nathan Drake PSN avatar and the Uncharted 3 Announcement Dynamic Theme. Naughty Dog just wants to thank us for our continued support:

As we focus on finishing up UNCHARTED 3, we look back and are humbled by the accolades we received for Drake’s Fortune, our first game in the series, and we never could have imagined that our second entry, Among Thieves, would go on to become the 2nd highest-rated video game of all time, receiving over 200 GOTY awards and over 41 perfect review scores.

Uncharted 3 will arrive two months later on November 1st, giving players enough time to play through the first two games in the Double Pack. How convenient!

I already have these games. So, I have a legitimate reason for passing on this amazing deal.
