Unmitigated Rumor: Freddy vs. Jason in Mortal Kombat this Halloween

Posted on Tuesday, April 19 @ 13:34:55 Eastern by Blake_Morse

I heard it from Bitbag, who heard it from a guy in the UK that Mortal Kombat is going all out to try and get some of the most well known IPs out there to test their might in the arena. Currently the rumor is circulating that classic horror staples Freddy Kruger and Jason Vorhees will be made into DLC for the Halloween holiday season. Right now there's nothing more to say about it than that. But as long as we're just throwing stuff out there, how about Ash from the Evil Dead films, or maybe give the 360 some love like you did with the PS3 and Kratos and throw someone from the Gears of War franchise in there? How about Cole Train? As it stands there's only one black guy (Maybe two, Nicks says that Cyrax may have been black before becoming a robot) in the MK universe.

I'm with DaVillain! I've been a Freddy fan since his inception...owning every Nightmare ever made. I would love to see them in Mortal Kombat as DLC on Halloween. Escpecially since this verrsion of MK is OUTSTANDING.
GR, I love your new format. Your site is so much cleaner, updated more often, and easier to use than it's ever been. You guys are great!

I hope they don't go crazy with characters that are out of the MK spectra though...then it's just not Mortal Kombat.
