LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

Use Connor's Weapons To Open The Assassin's Creed III Special Edition

Posted on Tuesday, October 16 @ 01:50:00 Eastern by

Below you'll find the weapons trailer for Assassin's Creed III—weapons you can use to open the Assassin's Creed III special edition!

I propose you steal a rifle from an unsuspecting family member, spin around and catch your little brother with the bayonette and then use the bloodied tip of the blade to cut open the tape. Too smooth and stealthy? Are you too excited to daintily remove the seal on your AC III?

How about the tomahawk? You could role and chop your special edition behind the knee, but be careful not to cut through the disc. Old fashioned? Just use the hidden blade to stab between the lid and side of the box. Voila!

Assassin's Creed III is out on Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 30th.

Those are two very worthy choices. I have high expectations as well. I hope it lives up to them.

Is that a black Redcoat at 1:05? I'm all for diversity, but somehow I don't think that's the most historically accurate...

I almost thought the Gamestop ad for Assassin's Creed III was this video.

Yeah, I've noticed some ACIII gamestop pre-rolls too. Goddam the Gamestop voice is annoying though.

How much do they want for that Special Edition?

This for me is the same as having DLC on-disc, only that they're calling it Special Edition. I don't care about the vanity things, but content... that I don't like.

Those I believe will not actually be on the disc. The pre-order DLC for Assassin's Creed has actually be downloaded in the past.

Anyway, I know in the states there's a "Gamestop Special Edition" which is a free upgrade for preorders... and then there's a $120 that comes with a Connor figurine. I'm sure it's something different where you are Bras.

The thing is I don't know either, because when I bought Soul Calibur V here a week after it released, I ended up with a Best Buy pre-ordered copy and the free Dampierre DLC, crazy world.

Can not wait for this game. AC3 is the only game coming out that can dethrone Borderlands 2 as my Personal GOTY. Hitman is the other game i am excited for, but i don't see that being personal GOTY material.

Hmmm, Mass Effect 3 maybe, really loved that game. Persona 4 Arena was pretty awesome, and Darksiders II. Asura's Wrath was really cool too. As far as Arcade games went Walking Dead was really cool, as well as Tokyo Jungle. Also Katawa Shoujo, but a free visual novel, even though it was pretty awesome, probably not GOTY.

My Persona GOTY's from years past are these though. I think its pretty typical, but i loved these games.
    2011 - Skyrim
    2010 - Red Dead Redemption
    2009 - Borderlands
    2008 - Fallout 3
    2007 - Mass Effect
    2006- Oblivion
