For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

Want Cool Minecraft Swag?

I haven't played Minecraft. I don't really get it. I guess I see the merit but I don't have the time (or the crushing obsessive compulsiveness) required to fully appreciate everything in that game. Regardless of whether you've played Minecraft or not, you can respect the story of one man creating a massive phenomenon like Minecraft.

That story is the focus of 2 Player Productions' "Minecraft: The Story of Mojang." Unfortunately, a documentary like that isn't going to sell itself to one of the big Hollywood studios. That's why 2 Player is turning to you, the residents of Minecraft's world, the core audience of their movie.

While they've already generated a lot of support at kickstarter.com, they're cranking out some incentives to get their funding where they need it to be. Interested in some neat Minecraft junk for you desk? Click through to see how much you need to donate for the Creeper wind-up or the Box Piggy Bank.
