Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Demo Coming Next Week

Posted on Monday, August 15 @ 12:10:29 Eastern by

THQ's tuned us into some particularly good news for you dear GameRevolution readers. The first is that Warhammer 40K Space Marine will be getting a demo on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. That's right, you'll all get a chance to play as the genetically modified, armor-encased, Imperium-defending, enemy-slaying Captain Titus before Space Marine's retail release.

The demo will give players access to two different areas. The first will have players face off with an Ork army "outside the gates of a munitions factory." You know what explodes really big? Munitions factories. The demo will give players a taste of the bolter, chainsword, and a mix of melee and ranged combat. The second area will let players try out a Jump Pack sequence to "rain death from above."

The demo will be available for PC and Xbox 360 on August 23rd, and PS3 on August 24th. If you're a little eager, you can sign up on the Space Marine website for early access. Oh, and that second piece of good news? You'll have to wait for a Friday some time in the future.

Does that mean there might be a Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Haiku Friday coming?

I can't wait for this game, but then, I love the universe of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Fantasy. It, along with a few others, are some of my favorite fictional settings. "They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear." Yeah, it'll be awesome.
