After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Wario Launches Crowd-Farter For New Wii U Game

Nintendo. I love you. Really, I do. Making fun of crowd-funding is great, but making a fart joke while you're at it is even better, and honestly, I can't think of a better subject for this campaign than Wario.

Taking to, the evil "charming leader" of WarioWare Inc. hopes gamers like you will help him obtain the coins necessary to finish development and deliver Game & Wario to Wii U. A message direct from Wario states that Game & Wario "is so amazing that I want to share it with the world! THE WORLD, I SAY! WAHAHAHAHA! But to do that, I need you to support my Crowdfarter campaign. Just pull my finger... er, like on Facebook or tweet with Twitter to "donate" and be a part of video game history!

Obviously, none of this is real, but it must be a lot of fun to write. There are even Crowdfarter Goals and milestone rewards. "5 bajillion coins," for example will unlock an exclusive digital badge that says "I Crowdfarted." Neat!

I haven't had hands-on time with Game & Wario, but Blake_Peterson recently wrote this preview after getting hands-on time with Nintendo.
