Watch Dogs Poster Indicates Holiday 2013 Release For "All Home Consoles"

Posted on Friday, February 15 @ 09:36:27 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
Remember that awesome new IP that made its debut during Ubisoft's E3 press conference last year? Well according to a leaked poster, Watch Dogs will launch on "all home consoles" this holiday season.

The images below come by way of Kotaku.

So what does this all mean? Ubisoft has stated in the past the the game will launch on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, but the nondescript "all home consoles" phrase has us thinking it will be coming to next-gen platforms as well, especially when considering how absolutely stunning this game looked when it was first revealed.

Perhaps this means Nintendo fans will be getting a Wii U version as well? It does say "all home consoles" after all. Let the speculation begin!

    noooo!!!!

this game looks f'n amazing... a truly innovative title with beautiful graphics... i dont want it on our dated hardware!!!
current systems will not be able to produce the amazing footage i saw from E3...
this should be a next gen launch title for both playstation & xbox... maybe even a wii u edition?

i dont see the point of starting a new franchise and the end of our console cycle, it will do much better business as a launch title and we will all be able to play the game we were shown & not a downgraded version...
