Watch Dogs Releases Feature-Rich v1.13 Update, Adds Kart Racing And Other New Game Modes

Posted on Monday, April 17 @ 09:30:55 PST by Jonathan_Leack

While it might be numbered like any ordinary update, today's Watch Dogs 2 v1.13 update is anything but ordinary.

There are three main attractions included in the update. The first is a new multiplayer mode called Showd0wn, where players battle frantically to protect or hack hidden hard drives and their data. This mode is played in a 2v2 configuration and is already earning praise among players for having healthy gameplay variation that alternations between locations and objectives.

A racing mode has also found its way online. This include three disciplines: Drone Races, eKart Races, and Motocross. Watch Dogs 2 has a reputation for having solid driving mechanics, which serves these new events well.

Lastly, there are armored trucks that will now spawn randomly around the game world. These trucks have heaps of cash inside, and if ambushed effectively can be used as a means of getting rich.

V1.13 is now available for all platforms at no cost.

Watch Dogs 2 earned a 4.5/5 in our official review.
