Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Watch Presidential Debate On Xbox Live (Tonight!)

Posted on Wednesday, October 3 @ 11:44:47 Eastern by

The first of three presidential debates begins tonight at 9pm EDT (6pm PST), and while you can simply view it on pretty much any public TV channel, you can also watch it through Xbox Live through its Election 2012 Hub on the dashboard.

As long as you've got a Gold membership, you can also respond to real-time poll questions presented throughout the debates. My guess is that most gamers lead toward the liberal side, but that's just my speculation. You can also submit poll questions via Twitter with #XboxPoll, though of course those questions will be filtered and reviewed.

If you watch this presidential debate, plus the following two presidential and one vice presidential debates, through the Election 2012 Hub, you will earn a special prize. Watch three of the four debates and you'll get a Halo 4 Warrior Armor avatar.

I wonder how many people will actually obtain it. I'm sure some Halo fans have already tried to figure out how to work the system, like leaving the debates on mute or something. Not that I'm encouraging it...

I wonder how many people watching the debate on the XBOX could actually watch the whole thing. I mean, all it takes is two button presses and you could be playing Borderlands 2.

Ugh. I'm skipping the debate. They're just so depressing. They've become nothing more than an extra helping of the horse race kabuki crap the 24-hour "news" media love so much. They almost never tell us anything useful about the candidates that we didn't already know, and they have been shown to have very little impact on the voters' opinions. What's the point?

Yeah, because the reason I ignored the debate is because I'm completely apathetic about politics and voting.

    *eyeroll*

But hey, if you need a TV production that is 100% showmanship and 0% actual substance in order to make up your mind, more power to you.
