Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Watch SSX Get Really Tricky

Posted on Monday, January 23 @ 16:17:47 Eastern by

Gamespot managed to get their hands on these fantastically fresh gameplay clips for SSX and you'd better believe their tricky. Give each a peek and then realize how badly you need to hit the slopes again.

Right about now you should realize that it's been over four years since the last SSX title, and that game was released exclusively for the Wii. Now if you're like me you just drooled a little bit on your keyboard in the middle of the clip above and you're like "f*** goddammit."

Two more gameplay clips follow. SSX is scheduled for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 28th, 2012. I'll get the hot chocolate ready.

Does this one have separate courses like Tricky? I loved that game...

I believe they've said that it's like several SSX 3s with real-world mountains "Trickified." So yes... and no.

This is my top game of the year next to Twisted Metal. I can't WAIT.

I was really interested in this title until I read no split-screen support. Also a major reason I'm hopeful for Twisted Metal to do well.

I used to play split screen with my brother all the time but now that I've moved out and he's in college it's not a selling point for me anymore.

Wait, you're kidding right? I was so excited because I thought it had local multi-player!

    Big letdown right?
I was also dissapointed when realised NFS: Hot Pursuit didn't support split screen. I have friends over at my house regularly and sometimes we just play PS3, so split-screen is a selling point for me.

But it's great though because now I only want to get Twisted Metal for my multiplayer needs.

No split screen support!? That was my main reason for getting this! Damn.

Found this in an article about it "we looked at racing games - not that this is an excuse - and pure racing games don't even support split screen today. And racing is only a third of our game. You certainly don't need split screen for tricking or survive it. It's something i'd like to add back into the game in the future,"

I personally wouldn't have purchased Modnation Racers, Wipeout HD, or any of the Motorstorm games had they failed to include split screen, and I won't buy Twisted Metal if they remove it. A shame Burnout games failed there.

And for that same reason I would have purchased Battlefield 3 instead of sticking to Black Ops.

Got me there, MW3 online was very frustrating for me, but I had a lot of fun with the split-screen survival and spec ops that I've played.
