Watch The Second Shin Megami Tensei IV Trailer Here

Posted on Friday, February 22 @ 00:27:41 Eastern by

Atlus revealed the second trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV last night during Japan's Nintendo Direct. The trailer shows off a few animated sequences, 3D environments, and character actions. The big takeaway here: the game is damn gorgeous.

While this trailer is in Japanese, you can still enjoy the matching uniforms and 70s hairstyles. I admit that this will probably be my first main-line SMT game, even though I'd like to get my hands on Nocturne at some point. Nick has offered to share his copy, but I'm afraid what he'll do to me if I refuse to give it back.

We'll be sure to update you on Atlus's upcoming RPG as it nears release in Japan and (hopefully) as it makes the trip to the West.

I want this so bad. I'm debating on buying a Japanese 3DS to just play it early. ;/

Looks very cool! but geez another 3DS game i want this year. Just so many good ones coming out.

I have Nocturne. managed to find it new at some gamestore a few years back. Its cool, but hard and the story seems kind of thin to me. Its still fun but i prefer Persona 3 and 4 much more than Nocturne. The encounter rate in Nocturne is kind of high too. The atmosphere is great though.
