Whitta: More Walking Dead Content Potentially Coming Before Season Two

Posted on Tuesday, February 26 @ 08:30:41 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Telltale games has already confirmed that a second season of The Walking Dead is currently in the works, but it appears that a little something extra may also be on the way as well.

In an interview with IGN, story consultant Gary Whitta said that fans can expect more of the zombie-themed adventure game before the second season rolls around. "I can tell you what you already know, which is season two is coming. There's not much to say because it really is very early - it's a way off," Whitta explained.

"But knowing that it's a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead... there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two."

As a huge fan of season one, I must say that this is incredibly wonderful news to me. Are you as psyched about more of The Walking Dead as I am? Let us know in the comments below.

I was surprised how engaging it was and that a point and click adventure game won multiple GOTY awards.

The game was a nice blend of point-and-click and actual action, but there's not very much depth in the story or much choice beyond 3 or 4 branches.

The Walking Dead, contrary to its name, proves that the adventure genre is alive and well. I'm looking forward to any future TWD content they have to offer.

I hope LucasArts are regretting letting their point and click adventure department go in order to focus on more Star Wars games
