Wii U Launch Line-up Leaked By GameStop Employee

Posted on Wednesday, August 1 @ 10:13:18 Eastern by

At GameStop, or any retailer for that matter, employees are trained on the products they sell. And when a product launch is as big of a deal as a new console like the Wii U, the more information is distributed for the purpose of having informed employees.

A picture of one of those training materials being used at GameStop was sent to ZeldaInformer, listing the Wii U's launch window line-up of games. As of right now, these games don't have a release date, but all are listed within the Wii U's "Launch Window" or "Holiday" (to me, holiday is still the launch window assuming it releases in November)

All but Rayman Legends and Aliens: Coloniel Marines. What the hell? That Rayman was the one game I was looking most forward to! It's listed as "TBA", which could mean that it misses the holiday sales rush and the Wii U launch window.

Anyway, here's the list of expected Wii U launch window titles:

2K Sports
D3 Publisher
  • Ben 10: Omniverse
  • Family Party: 30 Great Games (working title)
  • Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game

Electronic Arts
Maxmimum Games
  • Jett Tailfin

NAMCO BANDAI Games
Nintendo
SEGA
THQ
Ubisoft
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

How can the thing launch in November? We barely know anything about it.

    Some hopeful titles in there.

More Scribblenauts is always good (hope it's new, not just a port).
New Super Mario Bros will be fun for sure.
I liked the "Game & Watch" series, and the Wario Ware series, so I'm guessing "Game & Wario" will be fun.
Though I've never heard of it, I'm interested by the name "TANK! TANK! TANK!"

I wouldn't hope for any deep gaming from the release titles, just have fun with mini-games and party games at first, then see what comes out in a year or so.

The Scribblenauts title is definitely new, and TANK! TANK! TANK! is a port of an arcade game. I'm looking forward to the first, but I'm not very excited about the second.

    Wow, that's pretty awful.

Anyways, doubt it's releasing in November.
