Wii U Launch Titles Possibly Leaked By Blockbuster

Posted on Monday, May 7 @ 08:31:06 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

If you are eagerly anticipating the release of the Wii U (yes, all two of you) a recent leak from Blockbuster may just give you the early look at Nintendo's launch lineup you desperately crave. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot here that is all that surprising - go figure - so don't get too excited.

The list, first spotted by GoNintendo includes a total of 25 titles, both announced and unannounced. Obviously Nintendo has not confirmed the validity of this leak, so bear that in mind.
  • Just Dance 4
  • Killer Freaks From Outer Space
  • Marvel Super Heroes
  • Metro Last Light
  • Monsters Party
  • New Super Mario Brothers Mii
  • Ninja Gaiden 3
  • Pikmin
  • Rabbids Party Land
  • Raving Rabbids
  • Rayman Legends
  • Shield Pose
  • Splinter Cell 6
  • Sports Connection
  • Tekken
  • Your Shape 2013
  • Zombie
  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Batman Arkham City
  • Darksiders II
  • Dirt 3
  • Formula 1 All Stars
  • Game Party
  • Ghost Recon Online
What? No Metroid title? Is that really asking for too much Nintendo? **sigh** Well, at least there's Pikmin to get pumped for I guess...

Does Blockbuster still run on MSDOS? WTF.

OT: I really doubt there are going to be this many games on launch. Most consoles have between 10 and 15, and since the WiiU is crap according to a number of developers, my guess is it will be about 10.

I've worked for one of the largest national (U.S.) banks since I graduated college in 08. They run Windows 2000, and pretty much anything important to do with account info or transactions are handled in ancient black/green mainframe sessions.

TL;DR I'm not surprised they still use mainframe.

I don't believe this is legit. Just for one thing, Nintendo said clearly at last E3 that New Super Mario Bros Mii was just a tech demo.
