Wii U Owners Get Exclusive Mario And Luigi Costume In Rayman Legends

Posted on Wednesday, August 7 @ 11:52:02 Eastern by

The Wii U may have lost Rayman Legends exclusivity, forcing the game into a longer development cycle so it could have a simultaneous release on all platoforms, but it is still going to get some exclusive content. That content, is Mario and Luigi costumes to play dress up with. And that totally makes up for the half a year delay, doesn't it?

It is still something, but I'm still hoping for more exclusive gameplay that's possible only through the Wii U's GamePad and a Wiimote combo. That's infinitely more important to me, as that was a big draw as to why I wanted Rayman Legends for the Wii U in the first place.

And despite having all consoles at my disposal, I'll still be getting it on the Wii U. How about you? Does this Mario and Luigi costume inclusion help sway your decision about buying it for the Wii U instead? Who am I kidding—you don't have a Wii U, do you?

Rayman Legends releases on September 3rd, and features the entirey of Rayman Origins on the same disc. That's a hell of a value.
