Wii U Version Of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Listed On Amazon [Update: Confirmed]

Posted on Wednesday, March 20 @ 07:16:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
[UPDATE]: Square Enix has confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut will be launching exclusively for the Wii U. This new-and-improved version will include the DLC, improved boss fights, and a number of other tweaks.

[Original Story]: The Wii U continues to be a bin for third-party ports. According to a listing on Amazon, the next on the list will be Deus Ex: Human Revolution, in the form of a special "Director's Cut" version.

The game sports a fancy new cover as well. Give it a look below.

The listing specifies a release date of May 7th, which will be here before you know it. The retailer also indicates that this new-and-improved Wii U version will allow players to "Tap into the Wii U's GamePad true potential: Adam Jensen's newest augmentation, the Neural Hub, offers an immersive and empowering experience, right at the tips of your fingers."

Keep in mind that Square Enix has yet to confirm the existence of this game, though, the evidence is hard to argue against at this point.

Any Wii U owners interested? Let us know in the comments below.

Is the WiiU going to be the port dump site where devs just want motion and touch controls added to their games? The WiiU is getting the same treatment as the Vita right now.

Don't you mean same treatment as the Wii?

No, the Wii got it worse, it just got crappy shovelware. The Vita is just getting ports of PS3 games right now.

It still got tons of ports early on regardless. Even some of Nintendo's titles were ports at the start.

I didn't ask for this... if you want to make enemies try to change something.

Well it's a great game, maybe it will do ok? I'm not sure what the "Neural Hub" will add to the game, although I can see the touchpad being used for the hacking minigame.

Ugh and I just bought the game a month ago. I would of totally bought it on the WiiU it seems like a game that needs a second screen to be more "Immersive"

At least the Wii U is getting ports of great games. It could definitely be worse.

Not quite, ports can be broken still. A perfectly good game on one console can be a complete disaster on another...just look at Daikatana.

It was a completely horrid game on one console and became a piece of plastic full of polygons and vague representations of a game on another was where I was going with that.

I didn't say ports can't be broken, I said good games are being ported.

Also Daikatana sucks on every platform you can play it on so I truly have no idea what you're talking about

I never asked for this, but I'm sure as hell going to buy it.

I loved the game, and can imagine that they'll address the issues with the outsourced boss fights in this version. I also adored the Wii-U port of Arkham City, and the one of Ninja Gaiden 3 was no slouch either, both improving on their source games.

Yeah ports don't have to be a bad thing. Sure we'd love some more original titles but... this stuff'll do.

I was just thinking that all the WiiU needed to stay afloat was a port of a two-year old game.

You know, this is great and all getting a port of a very good game, but what about some new games? I just got my tax return, gonna buy a new PS3(to replace the one that died) and will have more than enough left to purchase the Wii U. I really want to, because it's shiny and new, but other than ZombiU COD BOP2(I have friends who have it) and Batman there really isn't much I want to play.

It was a fun game to play. You do get 3 endings, Just dont expect some kind of ending that was effected by your choices. Its worth a play for anyone who didnt play it.
