Wii U Version Of ME3 To Include Extended Ending

Posted on Tuesday, July 17 @ 05:12:55 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

If for some strange reason you plan on picking up Mass Effect 3 for the Wii U, you'll get the extended ending built right into the game. Speaking to SIliconera, game producer Michael Gamble said that: "The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead; you won’t have to download it."

This makes perfect sense considering the fact that the new ending simply expounds upon the original, adding a few details here and there without inherently changing the game's original conclusion. However, there was no word from BioWare as to whether or not the game's other added downloadable content will be made available on disc.

Regardless, I'm sure most Wii U owners will be too busy hurling rock Pikmin or jumping on Goombas to be bothered by Commander Shepard's quest to save humanity.
