Will Skyrim Get A Portal 2 Quest?

Posted on Thursday, February 9 @ 15:00:00 Eastern by

The video above will give you a visual sense of what we're talking about, but essentially Valve is messing around with Skryim.... No, not like deleting files or anything like that, but the typically cryptic company seems to have something going on in the land of Tamriel.

Valve released Fall of the Space Core, Vol 1 yesterday as a clever little The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PC mod that crash lands the Space-Personality Core in Skyrim. Pretty impressive stuff in the engine.

Still, users have discovered something hinting at a Portal 2-themed quest in the game that hasn't been fully uncovered yet. Maybe you need to take the personality core somewhere? I don't have Skryim on the PC, but if this continues down some absurdly amazing and brilliant path, I don't think I'll be able to resist buying a second copy of the game.

If you take the Space Core to the Atronach Forge, put it on the pedestal, and place some moonstone ore and an iron helmet in the offering box, it will create the "Dovahcore Helmet," a hollowed out Personality Core with the iron helmet's horns on the sides that you can wear as a helmet. No joke, try it!
