Windows Chief Will Reportedly Replace Mattrick As Xbox Boss

Julie Larson-Green, the current Windows chief, will reportedly replace Don Mattrick as the boss of Xbox when Microsoft's much-needed restructuring inevitably takes place.

This news comes fromBloomberg, which is reporting thatMicrosoft CEO Steve Ballmer is gearing up for some management changes next week. According to the outlet's source, the restructuring will allegedly put Larson-Green in charge of company-wide hardware engineering, including Xbox in its entirety.

Larson-Green has worked onInternet Explorer 3.0 and 4.0, Microsoft Office, and Windows 8, so she's definitely got some experience at the company. However, it's important to note thatnothing has been finalized, so stay tuned for an official update from Microsoft.
