Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

World of Warcraft's Huge Landmass Imaged From Space

Posted on Wednesday, April 11 @ 09:31:24 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

World of Warcraft has been out since 2004, so naturally its landmass is absolutley massive by now. However, you never can really tell just how big it is until you see it from the proper perspective.

A user by the name of lurker_becomes_lurkd shared a collection of images through a Reddit post which display Azeroth and Outland from thousands of feet away. Check out the collection below:

When you're flying around at 150 miles per hour on your Drake of the West Wind it's easy to take the beauty and scale of World of Warcraft for granted. To think that people in the art department at Blizzard had to design each and every inch of what you see above is truly astounding, and the screenshots don't even show the game's dozens of dungeons and raids. Keep in mind that another expansion, Mists of Pandaria, will add yet another massive continent similar to Northrend with five additional zones to boot later this year.

There's two options here - you realistically go from a forest to a slightly colder forest to a cold forest to a mountainous forest region to a snowy region, or you have disconnects between zones. I'd much prefer this to boring looking zones that change only slightly.

Haters gonna hate. WoW, though I despise the LFG tool, is still fun. I may only play now and then, but I still pay my monthly fee. It is the only game I keep coming back to, and I'm excited for Mists.

Dude, I remembered exploring before they redid the old world in the expansion. Like getting under Orgrimmar or visiting the upside down sinners room under Karazhan.

Oh man I used to go adventuring too. Wall-walking was so fun. How about the hidden troll village near Darkshore? Or the edge of the world? Ah the memories!

I remember back in Vanilla you could get into Hyjal by dying outside of the blocked off portal in Winterspring, and resing on the other side. Good times. Wish I still had the screenshot, but at the end of the path was a roadblock that was yellow with orange lights and said "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" Blizzard Construction Co.

Beauty and WoW are not two things that go together. Of all of the MMOs I've dabbled around with, WoW is by far the ugliest. It's not that the graphics are bad, it's that the art direction is terrible.

It must be an acquired taste because I love the look and feel of World of Warcraft. It's optimized very well and has a great contrast of color and personality. The only MMO I can think of that has a better visual presentation is Final Fantasy XIV, and that game performed very poor.

Some people just go for realism over characterization. WoWs art style would not suit every game, but I think it gives it uniqueness and charm

I just can't get over how it looks like something made in the WC3 world editor. I'll bet that is exactly how the software works.
