New Xbox Head Promises to “Focus on Gaming First”

Posted on Tuesday, April 1 @ 08:30:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

Just yesterday, Phil Spencer announced that he would be taking over the Xbox division as its new head, instilling faith in core gamers around the globe. The former Microsoft Studios boss has made his dedication to gamers clear in the past, and plans to continue to do so in his new position.

"With me you're going to get a focus on gaming first and a best platform to play games on," Spencer told Polygon. "It's not a focus we ever lost but it's one I'll be accentuating at Microsoft. It's really going to be a gaming-led focus with Xbox and my new role allows us to execute on that."

The exec is promising an exciting E3 for Xbox fans, with a press conference loaded with games, games, and more games. Do you believe the future of Xbox is in good hands? I'd say so.
