Xbox Live Gold Subscribers, Don't Forget To Download Halo 3 Free Starting Today

Posted on Wednesday, October 16 @ 11:22:59 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Starting today, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can hop on their Xbox 360s and download Halo 3 free of charge thanks to Microsoft's Games with Gold promotion.

You'll be able to nab Bungie's epic first-person shooter without paying a cent from now until the end of October. I suggest you go ahead and do it now while it's fresh on your mind. Even if you already have the game or don't have a hankering to play it just yet, do yourself a favor and queue up the download in the event that you have a hankering to jump in at a later date. After all, having a digital copy can't hurt, especially when considering it doesn't cost you anything.

In my humble opinion, Halo 3's multiplayer is among the best of the generation. Battling your bros in The Pit or playing a round of CTF on High Ground is always a good time. Any other Construct fans out there? A little Lone Wolf on that one was always a go-to for me.
