If hating Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood means I hate music then you know what? Hater gonna hate.

Steven Tyler and Jane’s addiction are acceptable. Mostly.

I'd normally agree with you, but Steven Tyler's new stuff is worse than everyone else you mentioned. (Except the Black Eyed Peas, they are the lowest form of music possible)

I anticipated getting at least one, if not more, responses like yours. They're not exactly my cup of tea, either. But someone obviously likes them out there, they're topping charts and selling albums.

I actually had no idea that Steven Tyler had new stuff out, but considering he's been whoring himself to American Idol trying to get in with a fresher audience, I'm not surprised. That said, I can't completely disown him - Nine lives is incredible. I spent a week where I listened to nothing but Falling in Love is so hard on the knees while driving.
But chart topping hits in today's day and age? Balls to the radio I say. Balls!

Well, y’all don’t know nothing about good music. The Del McCoury Band, Bill Monroe and The Bluegrass Boys, Ricky Skaggs, Flatt And Scruggs, Earl Scruggs (one of the greatest banjo players ever to live), Emmyluo Harris, Alison Krauss & Union Station, The Osborne Brothers, Bela Fleck, and other great Bluegrass artists too numerous to list. I fully expect to be thumbed down, or flamed by persons who object to my musical tastes. Go ahead unleash your hate and show how small minded you really are.
