Xbox Live To Receive Anime Streaming

Posted on Thursday, April 26 @ 17:21:17 Eastern by

Xbox 360 will be streaming Japanese animé by way of Manga Entertainment. There's no date yet, but it should be arriving soon. Some of the catalogue is already available on Manga Entertainment's official website as well as YouTube, so this new feature will likely only sway fans who want to stream their animé on their TV without too much hassle.

All people with access to Xbox LIVE Gold will have access to full length episodes, movies, and clips.

If I have to suggest any animation from Manga Entertainment's catalogue, it would be Baccano!, Dead Leaves, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, and Monster. Yep, I'm telling you to skip Bleach and Inuyasha.

I only care for cowboy bebop and FLCR. Unless they got some of the 1950 astro boy.

Baccano! was a solid piece of work. Had to have been my favourite series of the last few years. Did you check out Durarara! As well? Same author as Baccano!, but set in modern Tokyo. Not as good as Baccano! IMO, but still had the same good vibe.

For Monster? Everybody wins. For Baccano, there's only the original English dub.

Meh, i might check it out, but unless they have Anime netflix doesn't have, and Netflix has a ton of it, it seems kind of pointless. I do have to say Baccano is one of my favorites, gonna watch Monster soon on Netflix too.

I don't watch a lot of anime, really. Cowboy Bebop. Trigun, and GITM every now and then, but my favorite is still Paranoia Agent. Netflix has it on DVD, but last time I checked they didn't have the volume one DVD which makes it pretty much useless.
