Xbox One In "Full Production" With Better CPU

Posted on Wednesday, September 4 @ 05:50:33 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Microsoft has confirmed that its next-gen console, the Xbox One, is now in "full production."

According to Xbox chief marketing officer Yusuf Mehdi, the device also is getting an improved CPU. He announced at the Citi Global Technology Conference that the console is on track for its November release with a CPU that has been bumped up from 1.6 GHz to 1.75 GHz.

Mehdi is incredibly confident in the company's next-gen gaming box—after all, he kind of has to be, right?—saying that the Xbox One "is really going to shine."

Do you think Microsoft's new console is "going to shine" up against Sony's PlayStation 4 and the almighty PC? Let us know in the comments below.
