Xenoblade Chronicles Coming to North American Wiis
Posted on Friday, December 2 @ 13:03:54 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
We've made a lot of noise over a select fewNintendo games that seemed to be held just out of reach. It's happened countless times before. Some amazing looking game gets released in Japan, but Nintendo says that there isn't a market for it in America. Mother 3 anyone?
Regardless, incessant whining (and the fact that it's already been localized for European audiences) will bring Xenoblade Chronicles to American Wii gamers through very exclusive means.
Apparently the highly regarded RPG will be available through GameStop and direct order from Nintendo. That's it. Xenoblade Chronicles will be launch exclusively through GameStop retail on April 3rd. Still not convinced? Here's an official game page from Nintendo of America.
Can you imagine the Wii U launching with this game and Skyward Sword. Nintendo should have held these two titles to make a killer launch lineup for the Wii U and just let the Wii die. That is unless the Wii U's launch date is not as close as we think.
The crafting system looked pretty in depth but other than that it looks really generic to me. What is so special about this game other than the fact that it's on the wii?
