November 15, 2001 marks Microsoft's official entry in the console wars. Considering the incredibly competitive landscape, many consumers are wondering if this will be a viable platform for several years or a fly-by-night system with a shorter life span than a Sea Monkey.

We would love to offer an answer to this perplexing question, but we don't get paid enough to start making big dumb predictions. Instead, we figured we would try to help those of you interested in buying one of these things by serving up some scrumptious GR food for thought, hold the mayo.

In this segment, we'll be taking a look at a batch of Xbox launch games that have found their way into the GR compound and have spent some time spinning inside our fancy Xbox dev kit. In other words, we have had plenty of hands-on time with all of these games. No hype - this is the real deal. As we receive more builds of Xbox games, we will update this guide, so check back!
