Today the Daily Manifesto takes on the Shinobii Console Tool Kit, a boon to anyone who has discovered that it takes the entire cast of Ocean's Eleven to get inside their Xbox 360.

Actually, I did have to do that once. We had a 360 debug unit (a special 360 that can play preview builds) and the DVD drive on it broke. Specifically, it was actually carving a groove into any DVD we put in it. A little research turned up that it was a $30 Hitachi drive, and I thought it would be an easy fix.

Zelda Geek Rock

Today while recording the Inner Party Podcast we started a conversation about Zelda (which you can hear tomorrow when podcast goes live) and I mentioned that friend of mine and I had done a song inspired by the original classic 8-Bit NES version. Duke said I should share it with all you guys here in the Manifesto, so that's exactly what I'm doing. In fact, I like you guys so much that I'm just gonna share the entire demo with you.

Happy Halloween Haikus

It's the day before All Hallow's Eve and Duke didn't even have the decency to wear a costume into work today. Nope, he just showed up in his regular old pirate outfit, just like every other day.

Star Wars Uncut

Wow, if the trailer is any indication, I cannot wait for this movie project to finish. How did I not hear about this before now?

Here's the idea: The entire movie Star Wars Episode IV, split into 15 second increments, and reshot by amateurs around the world. You can find out more at their website. Did anyone else notice The Big Lubowski reference?

The only question that remains is, which scene do I claim and shoot?

Shopping Channel Wiisaster

We tested some little snap-on Wiimote attachments that looked like toy swords and tennis racquets last year and they were some of the worst peripherals ever because they actually blocked the infrared sensor. However, there's even one more drawback.

PC Game Gun

I've played with a lot of prototype gun controllers, and they've all been pretty terrible. However, because the screen is actually on the gun, this guy's "game gun" seems to actually work pretty well.

Blake\'s Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 Adventure

While Duke was off roaming the desert on ATVs and riding around in fancy sports cars (you bastard!), I was off having some fun of my own. Granted the only thing that even comes close to the pimpness of Duke's trip was getting faded off on a bottle of Jameson's in a fancy jacuzzi tub while watching a Mythbusters marathon on the bathroom TV, I still had some good times on my trip to LA. Product A Day Takes On The Tesla Roadster. Wait, What?

No we didn't just become a car website, However, through a string of good luck, plus a little awesomeness, I got to drive a whole bunch of sports cars this last week.

While in Vegas covering MX vs ATV, I managed to get myself behind the wheel of the Porsche Boxster, the Boxster S, and the Cayman. (Note: That's the Cayman, not the Cayenne. I am not an over-privileged soccer mom.) The next day, Chevy let me loose on their track with the 2010 Camaro SS.

However, as awesome as all of that was, none of them stood out as a singular experience like my test drive of the 2009 Tesla electric roadster. I should mention at this point that Capcom and Tesla are working together for their new game ...

Haiku Kinyoubi no Naruto

Believe it! This week, we're giving away two copies of Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 along with two matching headbands. Because admit it, you're a total otaku... Blake.

Best Day Ever?

I flew to Las Vegas today for THQ's MX vs ATV event, which doesn't begin until tomorrow. However, I have accidentally had the greatest day ever short of winning the lottery. Sorry, honey, our wedding day doesn't even make the top five.

(Sorry for the poor quality of my cellphone shoots, if i had known, I would have brought a real camera) So I arrive in Vegas, and the guy waiting for me from the car service has run out of sedans, so there's a stretch limo waiting for me.

I arrive at the Four Seasons and this is my view. However beyond the pools is a giant parking lot with a track laid out in orange cones. Porsches are screaming around it.

Stairs + Music > Escalator

Apparently, we don't need Wii Fit or Dance Dance Revolution at all. All we need is Wii Stairs.
