Hamburg, Germany / Prague, Czech Republic: October 30, 2008. German publisher Daedalic Entertainment will bring Alter Ego, the new gothic adventure tale from Future Games, to German-speaking territories in 2009.

Alter Ego is a dark horror story set in late 19th century England. The town of Plymouth is the backdrop of a tale of gothic horror that casts two disparate characters, a thief and a man of the law, into an investigation of the bloody trail left by a local nobleman. Future Games, makers of the legendary adventure game Black Mirror, once again combine beautiful backgrounds, a chilling plot with many twists and engaging cinematic cutscenes into a thrilling point & click adventure game.

+ Team Battles: Up to eight players can participate in 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, or 4 vs. 4 team elimination battles.

+ Endless Battle: Up to eight players can participate in an endless elimination online match where the winner stays on and plays against the next player in true arcade fashion. Spectators can also chat with each other as they watch the match.

+ Replay Channel: Players can view recorded matches and discuss the match while watching replays of great matches from players around the world.

+ Tournament Mode coming as DLC after launch.

+ More classic Street Fighter characters re-imagined for a new generation of gamers, including favorites DeeJay and T Hawk.

+ New challenger: mysterious female Juri is the first character in Street Fighter history to utilize the Tae Kwon Do style.

+ Bonus Stages: Return of the classic car and barrel bonus stages made popular in Street Fighter II both available in arcade and challenge modes:

+ Car stage: Annihilate the car with regular and special moves before the time runs out.

+ Barrel stage: Players are given 20 barrels and must destroy as many as they can within the time limit.

+ All playable SFIV characters will be unlocked out of the box.

+ Gameplay has been rebalanced to provide challenges for both newcomers as well as the most seasoned Street Fighter pro.

Dragon Age: Origins aims to join this prestigious company by channeling the spirit of J.R.R. Tolkein through the body of BioWare and by harkening back to a time when one man’s (or woman’s) strength could change the world.

[image1]Describing Dragon Age: Origins isn’t easy. On the one hand, it’s a transformative amalgam of various original sources set in the fantasy world of Ferelden, clearly inspired by English mythology, Christianity, and The Lord of the Rings. By setting the D20-based system in what is akin to a lengthy first-party Dungeons & Dragons campaign, the inspiration has come full circle.
