Adding to the challenge of the game, players must also simultaneously grow a neighboring city with more than 50 types of housing, shopping, and utility buildings to offer amenities to hungry and tired travelers. As time progresses players can expand their territory by purchasing new tracts of land for additions.

As they work to create marvelous airports and accompanying support cities, players field a variety of tasks, including collecting passengers and airfare, sending out flights to glamorous international destinations, bringing in a constant stream of air traffic for landing and completing numerous quests to harvest resources, develop new territories, and assemble collections of rare hidden items.
