To solve a puzzle, the player must draw the ancient hieroglyphs of the Astrolugs’ ancestors in a limited game area. The placing of the shapes happens intuitively: the player draws the hieroglyphs using his finger at the place where they should appear. The challenge here is that the game area changes with each puzzle and the player must always finish it! The appeal of the game is that anyone can play Astroslugs at his own pace and with no time pressure. There are various solutions for each puzzle, and if the player gets stuck he will find some helpful suggestions for solving the puzzles incorporated in the game.
