PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Call of Duty™ is an intense first-person action game that allows players to experience the movie-like intensity and gripping combat of World War II as never before – through the eyes of ordinary soldiers, fighting as part of a squad through the chaos of battle.

Developed by Infinity Ward, which is comprised of over 20 individuals who developed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault including all the production leads, Call of Duty delivers the gritty realism and cinematic intensity of WWII’s most epic battlefield moments – from the perspective of citizen soldiers and unsung heroes representing an alliance of countries, who together helped shape the course of modern history. Throughout the game’s 24 missions, players will be part of a squad, who bond together to take on enemy forces and achieve mission objectives through pivotal WWII battles and authentic military campaigns.

KEY FEATURES:
• Cinematic Intensity Of War – Experience the gritty realism of combat as never before – as Allied soldiers battling Nazi forces through a variety of authentic combat missions, ranging from epic battlefield conflicts and coordinated tactical assaults to sabotage, stealth, sniper and even vehicle based missions. Huge battle moments put players in the heat of the action, capturing the chaos of war like never before- Allied bombers fly above, as explosions shake the ground and tracer bullets streak overhead. Journey through a variety of environments, including historic battlefields, towns, bridges, forests, a POW camp and even a battleship, all realistically created from extensive WWII archival research. Take on enemies with an explosive arsenal of authentic WWII weapons, including pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles and grenades. Man entrenched guns, plant explosives, drive tanks and other vehicles to complete mission objectives and move closer to taking down the Nazi War Machine.

• Brothers-In-Arms – Experience the camaraderie of an army squad and bond together through the chaos of battle. Through advanced AI, a player’s squad will act like a trained military unit, with authentic squad movements and tactics - laying down suppressing fire, providing cover fire, coordinating attacks on entrenched positions and even pulling wounded soldiers from the battlefield. Success will rely on a combination of combat skills along with the ability to work together with squad mates to accomplish mission objectives and eliminate enemies. Featuring advanced AI, enemies will make use of cover, use tactical combat maneuvers and call for reinforcements.

• United Offensive – World War II was won through the collective efforts of average soldiers who all heeded their Call of Duty. Now, for the first time, players can experience the gripping combat of WWII through the eyes of American, British and Russian soldiers, through four interconnected military campaigns spanning 24 epic game missions. Begin the campaign as a member of a U.S. D-Day paratrooper squad from the legendary 101st Airborne Division dropped behind enemy lines and lay the groundwork for the D-Day Invasion. Later, take the role of a member of the British Special Forces - 6th Airborne Troop, and take part in the famous assault of Pegasus Bridge. Lastly, assume the role of a Russian infantry soldier during the harrowing battle of Stalingrad. A final campaign will then wrap the stories of each of the three soldiers together, with one final daring mission to complete the siege of Berlin.

• Intense First Person Shooter Combat - Based on an extensively enhanced version of the Return to Castle Wolfenstein/Quake III Game Engine, Call of Duty delivers an intense FPS experience, blending fast action gameplay and detailed graphics with epic battlefield scenarios featuring scores of soldiers and incredible special effects.
