Dinosaur revival machine "Dinorver" completed at Dinosaur research institute "D-lab". Ryuta and Rex delighted as the machine would accelerate dinosaur study. However, one of the Dinorver was stolen by the evil science gang "Team Act". They are attempting to take over the world using dinosaur power. Ryuta and Rex embark on adventure to stop thir ambition, and keep world peace and rescue dinosaurs.

Much-loved "Dinosaur King" comes to Nintendo DS as RPG game! "Dinosaur King" which is very popular as arcade games and TV cartoon comes to Nintendo DS as "paper-stone-scissors battle" style RPG game. The game has full of Nintendo DS original elements such as fossil excavation/ raising dinosaur features, Wi-Fi communication capability as well as well-known dinosaur battle element you can enjoy anytime anywhere. The adventure story of Ryuta and Rex, the leading characters, and dinosaurs set in the "Dinosaur King" world now begins.
"Paper-stone-scissors battle" is simple but profound. Dinosaur battles start when you meet enemies in fields or dungeons. The battle advances with "paper-stone-scissors" rules as same as the well-known arcade version. Rule is very simple. Winner of the "paper-stone-scissors" can attack enemies. You can customize "special attacks" to each dinosaur's hand. This feature adds "guess element" to the game and it makes this simple game more profound and enjoyable.
Excavate dinosaur fossils from all over the world, restore them and make them your fellow!! There are many dinosaur fossils buried on the way of Ryuta and Rex's quest. Excavate these fossils, clean them up and restore them to be a fellow with them. You can find where these fossils are with "fossil radar". Enjoy excitement of finding fossils in all over the world and also thrills to find out what kind of dinosaurs will be your fellow.
"Raising dinosaurs" only in Nintendo DS - Your fellow dinosaurs will be trained and their levels are increased by going through battles and getting Experience Point. As the level of a dinosaur improves, HP and attack power parameters increase. When the level reaches certain point, dinosaur himself produces "special attacks". "Special attacks" can be activated by setting them to "paper-stone-scissors" hands. They can also be utilized for other dinosaurs. Raise your favorite dinosaurs, customize attacks to them and make them the strongest in the world!
