Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling
Posted on 06/15/13
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Since September 2008, GardenParty has been in public beta and has proved to be an incredibly exciting and informative time for Asylum. GardenParty has received incredible amounts of positive feedback from children and their parents alike, and with this, has continued to grow both in content as well as in users. It is for this reason that Asylum has made the conscious decision to prolong the beta period.

In a positive move to give current users along with new and future users a greater opportunity to experience the whole of GardenParty and to enjoy the new features which are being introduced in the coming weeks, GardenParty’s beta invitation has been extended for another month.

The public beta has been a true test to Asylum’s abilities, not only in design and development, but also within the moderation of the game. The enjoyment expressed by the kids as well as their parent’s whilst exploring and discovering GardenParty inspired the creators to add something a little extra to their already engaging world…

The initiative promotes moderators to not only actively communicate with and aid the children whilst exploring GardenParty, but also create fun group activities with online players who wish to take part. Parents can also feel assured, safe in the knowledge that moderators constantly observe the environment, as well as engage their children in fun interactive and imaginative activities such as fancy dress competitions and quizzes.

With a comprehensive list of imaginative and compelling activities conducted by the moderators, repetition is rarely an issue. Children have often been seen initiating their own versions of the moderator games.

Beyond active moderation, GardenParty’s in-game content is constantly evolving with new items being added along with surprises which reward active and positive play within the game. This has encouraged a great and friendly community which keep users coming back for more. To find out more and to sign up for free please visit: www.gardenpartyworld.com
