NAMCO BANDAI Games Announce Original Anime-Style Action Platformer Coming to Europe and PAL Regions Exclusively for Nintendo DS in September 2009

CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 10 June 2009 – NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today exclusively announced Go Go Cosmo Cops! for Nintendo DS™. A brand new action title loaded with platforming mayhem and original gameplay, Go Go Cosmo Cops! heads to Europe and the PAL regions this September 2009.

Go Go Cosmo Cops! invites players to jump into the shoes of Leo and Jenny as they touch, flip and get rowdy in a battle against the resource-sucking Babools to save the earth. Just landed from outer-space, the Babools are threatening the Earth’s status quo by absorbing all its natural resources to build their giant towers. Using the ‘Accro Bracelet’ to give Leo and Jenny incredible super-powers, your job is to reach the top and take down the evil Babools by any means necessary.

For an original experience, flip your DS 90 degrees and scale the full available height of the screens. The simple controls will have the Cosmo Cops hanging, jumping and throwing wires in no time as they use the innovative gameplay mechanics to scale the heights of the more than 50 unique themed levels, each one bursting with colour and chaos. Boss battles and ferocious special attacks take the action to frenzied heights as Leo and Jenny battle Babools to save the day!

Using all the functionalities of the DS, Go Go Cosmo Cops! lets players go through the entire game using only the stylus if they wish. Alongside the single player adventure, the Versus multiplayer mode supports up to 4 players in downloadable play for maximum Galaxy Police fun with family and friends. For even more gameplay variety, additional game modes include two Time Attack modes and two in which the player controls alien police officers, each with different skills which the player must use strategically to gain the upper hand.

Developed by renowned Japanese studio Noise, Go Go Cosmo Cops! is scheduled for release in Europe and the PAL regions this coming September 2009 exclusively for DS.
