Key Features:
- Online and split-screen support for all multiplayer modes.
- Players can work alone or with friends to create custom maps with Creative and Collaborative Creative modes, which utilises a Minecraft™-style block placement paradigm.
- Using the level browser players have access to all levels of any type created and published by other players. Filters and voting allow the cream to rise.
- Single-Player levels can be designed to link up into branching Single-Player campaigns. Any Single-Player level can be tackled as a group in co-op mode. Map authors can build levels specifically for co-op action.
- Maps can be designed as arenas for competitive multiplayer modes. We plan to feature a large number of modes ranging from classics like death match and CTF to gimmick rule sets inspired by games like Timesplitters and Halo. Some modes are intended to enable great flexibility in player-designed challenge maps.
- More advanced players can utilise a deceptively simple trigger/channel system to enables complex mechanisms of connected special level elements in their maps. This can be combined with Single-Player features such as enemies to construct very unique co-op or arena multiplayer experiences.
