CHAPEL HILL, NC – May 5, 2008 – Merscom announced today it is the online publisher of Hope Springs Eternal, the popular adventure game developed by MDNA Games. Following on Merscom’s release of three top-5 adventure games earlier this year, Hope Springs Eternal is certain to resonate with the mass market for adventure games. Merscom is also publishing Hope Springs Eternal at retail in Germany and Russia .

Hope Springs Eternal is the second in the popular Carol Reed adventure series. Carol finds herself in the midst of the Swedish summer, without anything particularly exciting to do. However, this is about to change dramatically when she is called upon to investigate the disappearance of a friend of a friend. The search sends Carol on a colorful adventure of love, lies and murder. And possible madness.

As one player wrote, “stepping into Hope Springs Eternal is like stepping into one of those perfect days where the world is drenched in sunlight and the birds are singing and you realize that you are in love with life. Of course euphoria doesn’t last long, and soon enough in Hope you will realize that paradise can become a prison. But until you stumble across evidence that something is rotten, paradise is quite a nice place in which to stroll, smelling the roses as you go. The environments in Hope are filled with glowing light and vivid, saturated colors.”

Key Features:

100% mouse driven point-and-click gameplay
Exclusive by-pass feature for the more complicated puzzles
Rich unfolding story
& A wide variety of luminous environments and unusual characters

Games can be saved and loaded at any time
Engaging ambient music and sound

Hope Springs Eternal is currently available exclusively at iWin (and the developer’s site) and can be downloaded at http://www.iwin.com/download/1736160980585295137/hope-springs-eternal-game

“Hope Springs Eternal is the perfect compliment to our previous adventure games, it is a beautiful point-and-click adventure that will really appeal to the casual gamer.” explained Lloyd Melnick, Chief Customer Officer at Merscom, “I really think the by-pass feature, which allows gamers to skip over complicated puzzles if they choose, is perfect for the casual gamer; it provides control over the game playing experience. I am confident this will be yet another hit for us.”
