E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

SHELBURNE FALLS, MA. – FEBRUARY 12, 2007 – Crackpot Entertainment today announced they will be working with Gamecock Media Group to launch their first game title – Insecticide. Slated for both handheld and PC, this action adventure has a unique visual appeal that is immediately accessible for everyone. It is expected to ship this Holiday Season.

"Crackpot Entertainment is breaking the mold of what a traditional game development house is, and with Gamecock we found a publisher who is artist friendly, and willing to let us make the type of games we want, and maintain control of our IP at the same time," said Michael Levine, Founder of Crackpot Entertainment. "With Insecticide, we've built an incredibly deep world that will play well on PC and handheld, as well as translate to different media, from the web to ultimately film and television."

"Over the last year, we have sought out passionate teams, like Crackpot, with innovative titles that push the limit of creativity," said Harry Miller, President and Head of Development of Gamecock Media Group. "Our goal is the exact same as theirs – to bring original titles to the marketplace that give consumers an alternative to the countless sequels that populate the retail shelves."

Insecticide is a hard-boiled, fast-shooting detective game set in a festering future city where bugs have evolved as the planet's dominant race. A murder at a powerful company leads police from the Insecticide Squad on a bug hunt through the city's seedy underbelly, and into a mystery of epic proportions. Crackpot is in talks to bring the property to other media such as television or film.

Join Detective Chrys Liszt and partner Roachy Caruthers on the case as they become entangled in a web of crime. It's an action-adventure in the truest sense of the word, immersing players in cinematic combat levels, as well as a story-based detective investigation.
