Release Date: Mid-February 2001

KAO Kangaroo is a rear legged stomping third person 3-D arcade style game featuring an energetic marsupial with over-developed hindquarters and an eye for a fight. This "Joey" is ready for action, willing to stomp and bop the enemies, and able to put on a major butt whooping!

Armed with comedy-sized boxing gloves (what else would you expect from a Kangaroo?), KAO hops, skips, and triple jumps his way across magnificently colorful landscapes within five completely different worlds.

Along the way, the young Kangaroo encounters many different enemies including menacing bosses in a battle royal at the end of each level.

However, legs the size of a professional bodybuilders aren't the only locomotion for this furry bundle of fury: hang gliders, motorboats, snowboards, and even a space scooter add to the game pace and diversity.

Whether KAO is soaring through the air, ripping the powder down a mountain, or shredding through the water on his boat, he is constantly providing pulse pounding, adrenaline filled action.

Utilizing a dynamic camera viewpoint and an innovative check point system, KAO Kangaroo offers incredibly appealing gameplay to produce a charming and addictive game that bounds along at breakneck speed. All this is brilliantly topped off with stunning real-time movies and unique audio tracks for every level. All of these elements combine to produce an intriguing playing environment within a seamless storyline.

KAO Kangaroo truly embodies all the aspects of great gameplay as well as replay value. The game has an abundance of levels to explore: 25 main levels and 21 hidden bonus levels. As KAO continues through the game there are hidden levels you can enter to further experience the world of KAO Kangaroo.
