Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling
Posted on 06/15/13
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

OTTAWA, CANADA - June 17 2009 - Playbrains, an independent game development studio specializing in the digital download arena, is set to introduce those freaky-looking rubber balls with the grossly sculpted faces into the videogame console arena this summer via Xbox LIVE Arcade in Madballs in...Babo:Invasion.

Unleashed upon an unsuspecting world in 1986, Madballs were the gross-out phenomenon of the decade. Aimed at younger and older boys alike, Madballs featured such evocatively named characters as Oculus Orbus™ and Horn Head™. Extending their gleefully outrageous reach beyond toys, Madballs sparked a merchandising craze that included action figures, t-shirts, comic books and animated entertainment. This summer, two popular Madballs characters are set to invade the world of videogames for the first time, bouncing fearlessly onto the Xbox LIVE platform.

Madballs in...Babo:Invasion is an arena-based 3D shooter featuring Oculus Orbus™, a slimy mass of bloodshot veins who possesses an ultra-deadly "Ramming Speed" superpower that allows him to stun attack his enemies, and a super-speedy "Fast Forward" ability, which he uses to escape danger and any incoming fatal blows. Also up for the Babo:Invasion challenge is Horn Head™, a bodiless Cyclops with a massive horn jutting out of his forehead who can spin his nose chain with his "Psycho Slash" power to inflict pain, or taking it to the next level, can become an insane "Psyclone" of slobber and destruction. Both characters are fully loaded with weapons, unlockable weapon modes and plenty of Madballs' attitude.

About Madballs in...Babo:Invasion

A gameplay rich, feature laden "casually hardcore" action shooter, Madballs in...Babo:Invasion (MiBI) is that rarest of gaming commodities: a genuinely unique title. Featuring the recently re-released Madballs™ characters, Oculus Orbus™ and Horn Head™, from the popular 1980's toys best remembered for their outrageously bad looks and graphically colorful names, MiBI is an arena-based 3D shooter where players are able to design their own combat maps almost instantaneously by placing a combination of map tiles to create a never-before-seen map before gameplay starts. Truly, no two games are ever the same.

Offering players a satisfying and immersive experience in both single-player and multiplayer, Madballs in...Babo:Invasion has a plethora of features and game modes such as 4-player online co-op along with, never-before-seen in an Xbox LIVE Arcade title, being able to incorporate your Xbox LIVE Avatar into multiplayer combat via the 'Avatar Attack' mode. Yes, Xbox LIVE Arcade combat just got personal. And with up to 16-player multiplayer support, MiBI will be one of the few Xbox LIVE Arcade games to support more than 8 players at a time, and the only avatar-based game to support 16 players.
