STORYLINE

A long time ago, a lone hero and a heavenly messenger brought peace to the warring lands. They then created a kingdom with the hero as its king. For centuries, the kingdom flourished.

Then, one day, a foul darkness seeped out from the palace and covered the lands in its filth. The people were swallowed whole. Civilization collapsed overnight. The few survivors fled to bordering wastelands and deserts to begin anew. Some brave souls joined together to reclaim their fallen homeland, but were thwarted when they encountered strange warriors who seemed to rise from the darkness itself. Very few survived to tell the tale.

One hundred years later… A young man, guided by the voices of migrating birds, slips past the shadow warriors into the heart of the cursed land. Silent for over a century, the kingdom slowly begins to awaken.
