Greentube AG, a leading provider of free 3D download games and the creative talent behind Ski Challenge, has launched the fourth consecutive Mountain Bike Challenge season in cooperation with media companies in four countries. Following in the footsteps of Ski Challenge, Mountain Bike Challenge 09 gives gamers the opportunity to qualify online for four international competitions. Downloading and playing the game is completely free of charge. Mountain Bike Challenge is a high-quality, multiplayer, online game, which is just one of a portfolio of eSport games fully financed by In-Game Advertising (IGA).

At the start of May 2009 Greentube’s Mountain Bike Challenge entered its fourth consecutive season. Over the course of six months (until 30th October 2009) gamers from around the world will have the chance to take each other on head-to-head: first of all in the Qualifying Phase and, providing the qualifying time is met, the tournaments. In the diverse domestic and international ranking lists, only the best times will be recorded. Four exciting international tracks are available in this season’s action-packed schedule: Fort William, Heiligenblut, the Great Wall of China and Winterberg.

On the back of huge success in previous seasons a fan community of over one active million gamers, most of whom are young, sport enthusiasts, are expected to take to the tracks this season. New media partners have also joined in this season: Vienna.at, Vol.at and Radio Energy in Austria, SAT 1 and Pro 7 in Germany and Switzerland and the BBC in Great Britain. Moreover, final negotiations are currently being concluded with a fifth country.

With its series of free-to-download sports games alone, Greentube has reached over seven million gamers around the world, expanding the operations of the company in the process. Over the course of the year further new titles will be added to the existing game portfolio.
